2008-04-05 : Juxtaposition's final concert of the year, Turn Down The Suck, will be on April 18th in Blacksburg, VA at The Lyric Theatre! Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office in Squires Student Center, online at www.tickets.vt.edu, or at the door for $6.00! See you all out there on the 18th!
CARA 2008 Nominations
2008-02-17 : We are extremely proud to announce that Juxtaposition has been nominated for three Contemporary A cappella Recording Awards (CARA). The CARA awards originated from The Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA) and are held as prestigious awards in the a cappella community. The three nominations include Best Male Collegiate Album (Anomaly), Best Male Collegiate Song (Touch the Sky), & Best Male Collegiate Arrangement (Blurry). That puts the group in the top 5 in each category, out of every 2007 album. We are all very excited about this, and can't wait until April 1 which is when the winners will be announced on casa.org!
2008 BOCA Album
2008-02-13 : We are also proud to announce that Juxtaposition will once again be included on the Best of College A cappella (BOCA) annual album! This is a very prestigious honor in the a cappella world. The track selected was Touch The Sky off our latest album Anomaly! We are currently selling the 2008 BOCA album for $10.00 and if you would like one, or would like to learn more about the album just email Chris Belcastro!
Congratulations To Our New Recruits
2008-01-17 : Juxtaposition would like to congratulate Michael Edwards, Robbie Giorgiani, Andrew Gisch, Parker Krug, and Brian Livingston for making it thru their first semester in the group and completing it in awesome style! Their hard work and dedication has enriched the groups persona, and for that we are truly grateful. Great work guys!
